2023 QB Recruit Arch Manning Visits With Georgia Bulldogs
Over the weekend, 2023 quarterback recruit, Arch Manning ended the month with a visit to Athens and the Georgia Bulldogs. Manning, a five star 247Sports composite recruit, is the nephew of Peyton and Eli Manning, is considered the No. 1 quarterback in the class of 2023 and ranked No. 3 nationally. According to reports, Manning’s visit to Athens included dinner with UGA head coach Kirby Smart and several members of the Bulldogs’ coaching staff.
On top of Georgia being on Manning’s list of schools hoping to land the Isidore Newman quarterback, Manning and his family have long time relationships with the likes of Smart, who is good friends with Peyton Manning, and offensive line coach Matt Luke and senior analyst, Will Muschamp, who the Manning family has known for a long while. Manning also got the opportunity to talk football with Georgia offensive coordinator, Todd Monken, and spent some time with current Bulldogs, Tate Ratledge and Sedrick Van Pran and spoke with JT Daniels briefly.
In addition to Georgia looking to get a commitment from Manning, Alabama, who he also visited this month, Clemson, Texas, and LSU are courting the Louisiana native. During his sophomore season, Manning led Isidore Newman to a 9-1 record and a Louisiana Division III semifinals birth throwing for 1,922 yards with 21 touchdowns and eight interceptions along with eight rushing touchdowns on 274 yards.
