South Cobb Eagles Impressive In 67-37 Region Opener Win Over Lassiter

On Tuesday, the South Cobb Eagles hosted the Lassiter Trojans in the first region game of the season for both teams. The Eagles would open up the game on a 16-0 run, led by senior guard, Jermaine Fahie (12 pts). Defensively, the pressure applied by the Eagles throughout the game proved to be too much for the Trojans as they struggled to get any type of consistent offensive production. Meanwhile, for South Cobb, senior forward Baqi Lecky would lead all scorers with 15 points and the Eagles would also get 12 points from senior shooting guard, Robert Dix. The Trojans would show signs of being able to force turnovers and capitalize off of them late in the game, however, South Cobb had put the game pretty much out of reach by the end of the third quarter as they led 60-24.
