McEachern's McDowell And Brady Combine For 53 Points In Indians 70-52 Win Over Hillgrove

On Tuesday, the Hillgrove Hawks hosted rival, the McEachern Indians in a non region match up. The Indians were coming in off their win on Saturday over Norcross, while Hillgrove looked to bounce back from their loss of Friday to Holy Innocents. Throughout the first quarter, the contest would stay relatively close, but McEachern would hold a 18-12 lead at the end of the opening period. The second quarter would be much tighter as the Indians outscored Hillgrove 16-15 but would take a 34-27 lead into the locker room at the half. McEachern's Camron would finish the first half with 15 points, with three 3-point baskets. The Hawks would once again keep pace with the Indians throughout the third quarter as they were outscored 18-17 and trailed 52-44 at the end of the period, but it would be in the fourth and final quarter where the Indians' defense would really begin to take over as they held the Hawks to eight points in the period, while adding another 18 to their total to finish with a 70-52 win. McEachern's Camron McDowell would lead all scores with 30 points and his teammate Randy Brady would finish the night with 23 points as the two combined for one point more than Hillgroves total points.
