Georgia High School QB's L.A. Bound As AJ Swann, Jacurri Brown and Holden Geriner Make Elite 11
On Wednesday, the final quarterback roster for the 2021 Elite 11 was released and three from Georgia will take part in the quarterback Event. Cherokee’s AJ Swann, a Maryland commit, Lowndes’ Jacurri Brown, a Miami commit and Benedictine’s Holden Geriner will all head to Los Angeles June 30 through July 3 to take part in one on one quarterback instructions in a “highly competitive setting” according to the events website.
This past season, Swann led Cherokee to an 8-3 overall record and a Georgia High School Association 7A playoff berth. Swann has thrown close to 5,000 yards and 43 touchdowns that pact two seasons. Brown will enter his final season of high school football with a total of 3,387 passing yards and 3, 323 rushing yards and a combined 72 touchdowns. He led Lowndes to the GHSA 7A semifinals this past season. Geriner made a big splash in 2020 throwing for 2,700 yards and 25 touchdowns helped Benedictine reach the GHSA 4A semifinals.
The 2020 Elite 11 was canceled due to COVID-19.
