Emotional Season Opener For Creekside Leads To 72-57 Win Over Our Lady of Mercy


On Saturday, the Creekside Seminoles tool to the court for their season opener as they hosted the Our Lady of Mercy Bobcats. The was the first time that the Seminoles were on the court together for a game since head coach Anthony McKissic lost his father and guard PJ Murry lost his brother. In the first quarter, the Seminoles would outscore the Bobcats 17-13 but in the second quarter, Creekside would settle in as their defense forced several OLM turnovers which help Creekside hold a 38-22 lead at the half. The Seminoles defense would continue to cause problems for the Bobcats throughout the night and Creekside would go on to pick up the 72-57 win. Watch highlights from the game below now!
