Four-Star Prospect Commits To Louisville

On Thursday top-50 prospect, Malik Williams, announced via Twiiter that he would be committing to University of Louisville. Williams announcement marks the first commitment for the signing class of 2017. It was early Thursday afternoon when Williams sent out a tweet, "I would like to thank all schools that recruited me but I will be committing to the University of Louisville #L1C4." Williams is considered one of the nations top power forwards with the ability to play wing as well. 247Sports.com list Williams, from Fort Wayne, Indiana, as the 22nd best prospect in the nation, while ESPN.com ranks him at 42nd and both, along with Rivals.com and Scout.com all consider Williams a four-star prospect. Back in June, Williams told the Indianapolis Star, “I liked it down there. It’s a nice campus. Coach Pitino and his staff just said that they like my personality, my versatility and how I can help the program. I think I’d fit in nicely there. They would help me play my game and develop my game.”
