The Southwest Dekalb Panthers ended their regular season on a 10 game win streak as they picked up a 32-0 win over the Columbia Eagles and a 13-0 win over the Lakeside Vikings. "Keeping their composure," Southwest Dekalb coach, Cee Ficklin said of what impressed him most about his players and their approach to Thursday night's matchups.
"Just because they understand we're going to the playoffs, they still understand we have to end the regular season on a good note," Ficklin said of the Panthers, who will now start preparing for the opening round of the Georgia High School Association flag football state championship tournament.
"Confidence, keep their head in the game, play until the last play until the clock says, zero, zero, zero," Ficklin said of what he wants his Panthers players to work on as they prepare for the state title tournament.
