Landmark Takes Down Armuchee To Advance To GHSA State Duals Elite 8

As the wrestling season begins to near its end, the Landmark Christian War Eagles made sure that they would keep things going. After defeating Towns County in the opening round of the sectional duals, the War Eagles found themselves facing Armuchee, who advanced following their win over Holy Innocents. After forfeits by Armuchee in the first couple of weight classes, the Indians would pick up back to back wins in 285 and 106. But in 113, Landmark's Sean Allenyne would pick up a win by pin just as time was ticking off the clock over Ethan Ayers and from there, the War Eagles started rolling picking up several big wins including Peyton Whiteside's 132 win and Cody Lee's 145 win.
