Starr's Mill 19-2 Win Over Fellowship Christian Sets Up GHSA 1A-5A Title Rematch Against Blessed

On Wednesday, the Georgia High School Association girls lacrosse state playoffs continued and in the class 1A-5A semi finals, the Starr's Mill Panthers hosted the Fellowship Christian Paladins.

The Panthers, who fell to Blessed Trinity in the state championship game last year, would come out scoring quickly as they opened up the first half on a 8-1 run with six different player scoring in the opening period as they took a 13-1 lead at the half.

A 5-1 run in the second half would see the Panthers picking up the 19-2 win as Ryanne King would score seven of the Starr's Mill's goals and Alyssa Angelo would contribute five in the win. The Starr's Mill victory sets up a rematch from the 2018 GHSA 1A-5A state title game as the Panthers will take on Blessed Trinity on Saturday. Watch highlights from the game below now!
