Woodward Academy , Columbus Split Swimming Dual
With both their boys and girls teams coming off fourth place finishes at the Westminster Invitational, the Woodward Academy War Eagles swim teams were back in action as they took on the Columbus Blue Devils.
This would be the second head to head meet of the season for the War Eagles as the boys, 1-0, defeated North Atlanta and the Lady War Eagles, 0-1, lost to North Atlanta. On the girls side of the meet, the Lady Blue Devils would show their dominance and cruise to a 212-97 win with Katie Jordan winning both the Girls 200 Yard Freestyle in a time of 1:55.89 and the Girls 500 Yard Freestyle in 5:08.62.
On the boys side, the War Eagles would prove to have to much strength in the water as they went on to pick up the 209-92 win as Emanuel Abdul-Salaam would win the Boys 50 Yard Freestyle in a time of 22.15 and the Boys 100 Yard Freestyle in a time of 49.07. Watch highlights from the meet below now!
