Dragons Off To Second Round of GHSA Playoffs As Pepperell Sweeps South Atlanta

The opening round of the Georgia High School Association Class 2A softball state playoffs got underway on Tuesday around the state including the South Atlanta Hornets hosting the Pepperell Dragons in a best of three series.

The Dragons would be in control throughout games one and two as they would shut out the Hornets 12-0 in the first game and 19-0 in the second. Big hits for the Dragons included a one out grand slam by Maddie Clay in game one which gave Pepperell a 11-0 lead. Watch highlights from game one of the series below now!
