Warriors End Two Game Skid As North Atlanta Defeats Pebblebrook 16-1

On Monday, the North Atlanta Warriors hosted the Pebblebrook Falcons and looked to end their two game losing streak. In the bottom of the first, the Warriors would take a 3-0 lead and in the bottom of the second, looked to add to that lead after loading the bases, but would come up short as the Falcons would hold off the Warriors threat.

In the top of the second inning, Pebblebrook would finally get on the board thanks to an RBI single by Lapryn Murphy, and the Falcons would trail 3-1. But in the bottom the second, the Warriors bats would light up beginning with a double by Siane Peak.

Later, with runners at first and second, Jillian Dacey would drive a Kianne Owens pitch deep to left field bringing in two runs and scoring herself on an in the park homerun to give the Warriors a 6-1 lead. After a two run triple by Hannah Hume, the Warriors would find themselves up 8-1 and would tack on five more runs in the inning to take a 13-3 lead.
