Dalton's Omar Hernandez Named To All-USA Boys Soccer Second Team

On Wedneaday, the American Family Insurance All-USA boys soccer teams were announced and the Dalton Catamount's Omar Hernandez was named to the All-USA second team. The honor comes just weeks after Hernandez was named 2017-2018 Gatorade Georgia Boy's Soccer Player of the Year. In his junior season, Hernandez finished with 28 goals, 20 assist and five hat tricks and helped lead the Catamounts to a 16-3-1 season and a second round Georgia High School Association Class 6A playoff birth. To this point in his high school career, Hernandez has 62 goals and 47 assist and was recently named All-Area Boys Soccer Player of the Year by the Daily Citizen-News out of Dalton, Georgia.
