Three Georgia Teams To Play In Geico ESPN High School Kickoff

ESPN released its 2018 Geico ESPN High School Kickoff schedule and three of Georgia's top programs will be playing in two of the seven games scheduled to take place August 24th through August 26th. On Saturday, August 25, 2016 Georgia High School Association 3A Champions, the Cedar Grove Saints will travel to Hoover, Alabama to play Hewitt-Trussville at 3:30PM.

Both teams only had one loss on the season last year, Cedar Grove losing to Calhoun in the GHSA 3A semi-finlas and Hewitt-Trussville losing to Hoover in the Alabama High School Athletic Association 7A quarter-finals. Later that evening at 6PM, the Tucker Tigers, who lost to Coffee in the GHSA 6A semi-finals last year will face the 2016 GHSA 7A Champions, the Grayson Rams, who only had two losses last year including their 35-28 loss to North Gwinnett in the second round of last year's playoffs. That game will be held at Grayson's Community Stadium.
