Nine Spartans Score As South Paulding Defeats The Mays Raiders 9-1

Coming off a 4-0 win over New Manchester, the South Paulding Spartans marched into the Mays Raiders home field looking for their second consecutive win as well as their second region win. The Spartans would get to work early in this one scoring two quick goals in the early minutes of the contest to take a 2-0 lead.

The Spartans offensive attack looked good on as they would get several attempts at scoring before finally adding a few more goals taking a 5-0 lead in the first half and being up 8-0 at halftime.

In the second half, the Raiders would eventually get on the board courtesy of a Herierto Lorenzana goal but the Spartans would answer back with a goal of their own by Chase Thompson to make it a 9-1 game which would be the final score.
