Molner, Brooks Take Doubles One, Lovett Pick Up 5-0 Win Over St. Pius

The Lovett Boys tennis team is off to a 5-0 start after getting a 5-0 win over the St. Pius Golden Lions. Our featured coverage of the match included Doubles One in which Lovett's Jonathan Molner and Holden Brooks took on St. Pius' Patrick Huff and Sebastian Giraldo.

In the first set, after taking the first few points, Molner and Brooks appeared to be in control however, Huff and Giraldo would make things difficult for the Lions' duo, but Molner and Brooks were able to take the first set 7-5.

In the second set, Molner and Brooks once again looked good early on and appeared to be in control but Huff and Giraldo would continue to make things difficult and making a run of their own threatening to steal the set but Molner and Brooks were able to prevail and pick up the 6-3 win to take the set.
