9 Goals For Bennett, Woodward Defeats Maynard Jackson 17-3 In Opener

After a tough first round loss in the Georgia High School Association Girls Lacrosse State playoffs last year, the Woodward Lady War Eagles were anxious to get back into action as they took on the Maynard Jackson Lady Jaguars in their first game of the season.

As the first half began, Woodward would get going almost immediately as their fast pace led to them to a 17-3 win. The War Eagles saw an impressive outing from Jr. Attacker, Ella Bennett who score nine of the 17 Woodward goals. Watch highlights from the game below now!
