Highlights From The GHSA 6A Wrestling Section A Sectionals

On the second day of the Georgia High School Association 6A Section A Sectionals, over 150 wrestlers made there way to Alexander High School looking to pick up the necessary wins to advance to the GHSA 6A State championship Tournament.

Some of the action we caught today included the 160 weight class in which South Paulding's Austin Seymore defeated Tucker's Justin Carter by pin fall to advance to the finals of the 6A Section A sectionals.

In the 170 weight class, Northgate's Cameron Prevost would advance to the sectional finals after picking up a win over Alexander's Gabriel Santiago by pin fall. In 182, Sylvester Jackson would defeat Jaquarius Middlebrooks 12-11 for the win and a shot at winning the 182 6A Section A title. Watch highlights below now!
