Ola Is State Bound After Sweep Over Decatur In GHSA 5A Semi Final

On Tuesday, the Decatur Bulldogs baseball team hosted the Ola Mustangs in a best of three series of the semi finals of the Georgia High School Association Class 5A state playoffs. In game one, the Mustangs would get four runs in the top of the third inning to take a 4-1 lead.

Later in the top of the fourth inning, the Mustangs would tack on two more runs as they took a commanding 6-2 lead. However, the Bulldogs would battle back but would come up short as they fall 11-10 to Ola in game one of the best of three series. The Mustangs would go on to win game two by a final of 6-4.
