Triton Rays Scout Defeat Nelson Baseball School 11-2 In Perfect Game East Cobb Invitational

On Thursday morning, day four of the Perfect Game East Cobb Invitational got underway with the 1-2 Nelson Baseball School out of Kennesaw, Georgia facing the 2-1 Triton Rays Scout out of Auburn, Alabama. TRS would get out a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning and would later take a 3-0 lead in the top of the second inning after a two out bases loaded RBI single by Tucker Mitchell.

In the top of the third inning, Jackson Holcomb and Jones would help TRS get out to a 5-0 lead and in the top of the fourth inning, TRS would go on a tear adding another five runs to take a 10-0 lead. They would go on to pick up the 11-2 win and improve to 3-1 in the tournament and finish second in Pool M standings, while Nelson would finish 1-3 and third in the Pool O standings.
