Peachtree Ridge, Hilllgrove Among Top Performers At GHSA 7A Sectional A For Regions 1, 3, 6, 7

As the Georgia High School Association Sectionals got going on Saturday, Section A in Class 7A for regions one, three, six and seven took place at McEachern High School in Powder Springs, Georgia. The day began with Peachtree Ridge taking the first heat of the Girl's 4x100 meter relay in a time of 47.81.

Other top performers for Peachtree Ridge included Tamiia Fuller, who was part of the girl's 4x100M relay team, punch her ticket into the GHSA 7A state meet with a top time of 11.98 in the Girl's 100M dash. Wilson McClain of Peachtree Ridge qualified for the state meet by winning the Boy's 110M Hurdles in a time of 14.09.

The Hillgrove Hawks will also be represented in multiple events at the state meet next week as their Boy's 4x100M relay team own the day with a time of 41.54 and Garrett Shedrick, also a member of the Hawks Boy's 4x100m relay team, qualified for state after claiming the best time of the day, 21.22, in the Boy's 200M dash and the second best time of the day, 47.37, in the Boy's 400M dash.
