PSN Preview Spotlight: Washington Bulldogs For B.E.S.T. Academy

In the world of high school sports, it does not take much for a team to get a sense of urgency in generating a winning season. Just ask the Washington Bulldogs out of Atlanta, Georgia. After losing their first two games of the season, including a region match up to rival, the Douglass Astros, the Bulldogs have racked up five straight wins.

In each of the Bulldogs' wins, Washington has scored 30 or more points including a 61 point performance against Berkmar and a most recently, a 70 point performance against McNair.

We caught up with the Bulldogs during a recent practice as they prepare for their game against B.E.S.T. Academy and spoke with head Derrick Avery, who accredited Washington's five straight wins to the leadership of his seniors, stating that the players made it very clear that they had no intent for the 2018 season to be a losing one for the program.
