Sterling Lester Caps Off Senior Season With All-USA Track and Field Honors

Fresh off of her final season of running, jumping, and throwing for Marietta High School (Georgia), University of Georgia bound Sterling Lester is still collecting honors in recognition for her accomplishments in track field during her senior season. On Tuesday, the American Family Insurance All-USA Teams were announced with Lester being named to the second team. Back in April, at the Arcadia Invitational, Lester set a personal best and second best mark in Georgia with 5,288 points and repeated as girls 400 meter champion finishing with a time of 53.366. In March, Lester set the third best score mark at the New Balance Nationals Indoor pentathlon finishing second behind Anna Hall with 3,976. In June, Lester took second with 5270 points at the 43rd Great Southwest Track and Field Classic.
