Georgia Track and Field Recruits, Morgan Iverson, Khalil Hasan Announce Commitments

For Gwinnett County, Georgia high school sports teams, it has been a very decorated 2017/2018 season. From the North Gwinnett Bulldogs winning the Georgia High School Association 7A Football State Championship, to the Parkview Panthers Girls Soccer team and baseball team both winning their respective sports state titles, (baseball defeating fellow Gwinnett County school Mill Creek) , the Gwinnett County community is very proud to say the least.

News and accomplishments continued this week for the area as Mill Creek's Morgan Iverson and Brookwood's Khalil Hasan both announced their college commitments for the upcoming 2018/2019 season. Iverson, who was selected to the first team all-county track and field, selected Eastern Michigan University. Iverson finished her high school career with a third place finish in the GHSA 7A state championship. For Hasan, the Auburn Tigers was his decision. Hasan completed his final year of high school track and field with a region championship and the 7A state title in the triple jump.
