Therrell Panthers Climb Out of 14 Point Deficit, Defeat Douglass Astros 47-45

On Tuesday, the Douglass Astros looked to be in cruise control and headed to victory as they led rival, the Therrell Panthers 35-21 late in the third quarter. However from that point, the Panthers would outscore the Astros 12-3 to shorten the Douglass lead, as the Panthers trailed 38-31 midway through the fourth quarter.

The Astros would later take a 41-34 lead but the Panthers' Unique Hull would connect on a three point basket to make it a 41-37 lead for the Astros. Following that basket, officials had to get together to discuss an issue with the score and after sorting things out, officials reset the score to 39-37 in favor of the Astros but Douglass head coach Alana Allen not happy with the officials decision.

The changing of the score would in fact make a difference as the Panthers would score 10 unanswered points after trailing 45-37, to take a 47-45 lead and win by that score. Watch highlights of the game below now.
