ree

The Woodward Academy War Eagles dominated the Shiloh Generals on Friday night to pick up the 75-25 win, improving to 7-4 overall and 4-0 in region play as well as extending their current win streak to five games in a row. The length of the War Eagles caused problems for the Generals all night as the Woodward defense held Shiloh to just three points through the first half of play.

The War Eagles' defense continued to hold Shiloh in check in the second half, limiting them to six points in the third quarter while Woodward Academy junior, Jarvis Hayes Jr. would lead all players with 17 points, playing in just three quarters, while sophomore center, Bentley Lusakueno contributed 13 points in two quarters of play.

Friday's win marked the sixth time this season the War Eagles scored 70 or more points in a victory and their third game of the season in which the margin of victory was more than 40 points. The War Eagles will return to action on Tuesday when they face defensing Georgia High School Association 5A champs, Tri Cities, who defeated Woodward Academy to win the state title last season.
