Sania Feagin, Jabari Smith Among Five Georgians Named To McDonald's All-American Games Final Rosters


Last, the McDonald’s All-American Games list of nominees was released and 32 total boys and girls student athletes from Georgia were nominated. On Tuesday, the final rosters were announced and five of the 32 were named finalist. Of the five, four will be representing on the girl’s team and that includes, Forest Park’s Sania Feagin, Westlake’s Raven Johnson, McEachern’s Jillian Hollingshead and Morgan County’s Kayla McPhearson. Sandy Creek’s Jabari Smith is the lone boys student athlete to make the boys final roster.


For Feagin and Johnson, who will be teammate with the South Carolina Gamecocks next season, this adds to their stellar high school careers as both have won state titles, Feagin one and Johnson three, and are both in the midst of capping their senior seasons with another state championship. Last week, both Feagin and Johnson were also named finalist for the 2021 Naismith Girls Player of the Year Award, which will be announced on March 9th. For the 2019-2020 season, Feagin was name the Gatorade Georgia Girls Basketball Player of the Year and Johnson was the USA Today Atlanta Girls Athlete of the Year. Sandy Creek’s Smith, an Auburn signee, won a gold medal as part of the 2019 U16 USA Basketball team.
