PSN Spotlight 2020 Volleyball Championships Preview

On Saturday, the 2020 Georgia High School Association Volleyball State Championship match ups will take place at the Lakepoint Sports Complex in Cartersville, Georgia and several teams will be looking for historic wins. In the 7A title game, the Walton Raiders will take on the Alpharetta Raiders. If Walton is able to secure the win, it will be their sixth consecutive title and 15th in program history. If Alpharetta comes away with the win, it will be the first for the program. In 6A, the Pope Greyhounds will take on the Buford Wolves in search of their second title in three years, while Buford looks to claim their first since 2015. In 5A, the McIntosh Chiefs will look to take home fourth straight title and sixth in program history when they face Blessed Trinity, who won the 4A championship last year as well in 2016, looks to repeat and claim their eighth title in program history. In 4A, the Marist War Eagles will also look to bring home their eighth championship in the programs history. In 3A, Westminster will also look to bring home their eighth state title when they face Morgan County and in A/AA, Pace Academy will look to win their fourth straight when they face Gordon Lee. In 1A Private, Holy Innocents looks to win their first title since 2015.
