Marist Strokes Past Lakeside In Regional Dual

On Tuesday, the Marist War Eagles swim and dive team took to the water to host the Lakeside Vikings in a dual meet. The War Eagles would get off to a great start as they would win the first three events, including the Boys and Girls 200 yard medley relay and the Boys 200 yard freestyle, by Colby Yount (1:54.89), who also swam the final leg of the 200 medley relay.

While Lakeside would break things up with a win by Katelyn McClintock in the Girls 200 yard freestyle, the War Eagles would take the next four events including freshman, Abby Jacobs 50 yard freestyle win (:25.49). Through the first nine events, Marist would lead Lakeside 71-33 and would go on to pick up the win over the Vikings.
