Highlights: GHSA 1A-3A Private and 6A Track & Field championship

The Georgia High School Association Track and Field season completed on Saturday as the Carrollton Trojans hosted the championships for both Class 6A and 1A-3A Private and the Buford Wolves boys team would claim the 6A title highlighted by freshman, Kameron Bethea, winning his first title in the 100 meter dash (10.57) and helped the 4x100 meter relay team first as well in a time of 40.49. The freshman would also capture the 1A-3A title in the boys 200 meter dash in a time of 21.48.
While the Marietta Blue Devils girls would win the 6A championship, the Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans girls had a great day winning the 1A-3A Private title as sophomore Skylar Cunningham would take first in the girls 100 meter dash (11.32), edging teammate Ava Kitchings (11.34) and both helping the Spartans win the 4x100 meter relay (46.31). The two Spartan runners would also take first (Cunningham 23.34) and second (Kitchings 23.93) in the girls 200 meter dash. Landmark Christian boys would take home the 1A-3A private title.
