Illinois Top 2021 Boys Hoops Recruit Max Christie Commits To Michigan State

On Tuesday, the No. 12 boys basketball recruit in the ESPN 100 for the class of 2021, Max Christie announced his commitment to play for the Michigan Spartans. Christie, who is heading into his final high school season for Rolling Meadows High School out of Illinois, is the second top recruit to commit to the Spartans in the past week. Emoni Bates, the top 2022 recruit announced he'd be playing for Coach Tom Izzo and crew at the end of June. Christie, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard, had the likes of Duke, Ohio State, and Villanova hot on his trail, however the Spartans put in the work to become Christie's top choice.
