Greater Atlanta Christian's Jasmine Jones Earns Second Straight Gatorade Georgia Girls Track &am

On Thursday, the Gatorade Company continued their 35th year of honoring the best student athletes throughout the country and named Greater Atlanta Christian School's Jasmine Jones the Gatorade Georgia Girls Track and Field Athlete of the Year. The marks the second consecutive year that Jones, who's time of 8.12 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles ranks No. 1 among the nation's prep indoor competitors in 2020, has earned the honor. In 2019, Jones wrapped up her outdoor season with a 100-meter hurdles win at the USATF U20 Championships with a personal best time of 13.19, the No. 1 prep time for 2019. Jones is a University of South Carolina signee.
