Cochran, Cooper, and Kessler Representing Georgia In McDonald's All-American Game

On Wednesday, the rosters for the McDonald's 43rd All-American Game were announced and Georgia will be represented on both the girl's and boy's teams. Carver-Columbus' Olivia Cochran was announced as part of the girl's roster when unveiled on Wednesday. Cochran, a Louisville signee, ranked the 18th overall player and No. 4 at her position according to ESPN, which also list her as a five star recruit coming out of the class of 2020.

On the boy's roster, both Sharife Cooper of the McEachern Indians and Walker Kessler of the Woodward War Eagles, were named to the roster. Cooper has been drawing national attention since his sophomore season with the Indians, who he helped lead to the Georgia High School Association Class 7A state championship in 2019.

Two summers ago, Cooper even earned props from NBA all-star Kevin Durant who watched the Auburn signee play that summer on the Nike EYBL circuit. Kessler, a 6-11, 220 pound center for the War Eagles and North Carolina Tar Heel signee, rounds out the list of Georgia players added to the All-American game. Kessler is ranked the No. 1 player in the state according to ESPN and No. 14 overall in the class of 2020. The McDonald's 43rd All-American Game will be held in Houston, Texas on April 1, 2020.
