Panthers Dominate Bulldogs As Langston Hughes Defeats Tri-Cities To Take Over First In The Region St


On Saturday, the Langston Hughes Panthers boys basketball team hosted the Tri Cities Bulldogs in the second match up between the two teams this season. In game one, the Panthers picked up the win and momentum from their last three contest carried over into Saturday's game with Tri cities as they would find themselves up by 12 points at the end of the first quarter.

By the end of the second quarter, the Panthers would carry a 58-31 lead into the locker room at the half, but the Bulldogs would open up the third quarter on a 16-2 run to make it a 60-47 game in favor of the Panthers. However, led by Patrick Carter Jr. (35 points), the Panthers would continue dominate the Bulldogs despite a late puch by Tri cities and pick up the 85-77 win. The win would the Panthers in first place in the region standing as Tri Cities drops to second. Watch highlights from the game below now!
