Blue Devils Even Season Series As Norcross Edges Brookwood For 51-49 Win

On Thursday, the Norcross Lady Blue Devils basketball team hosted the Brookwood Broncos in the second match up between the two this season. In the Last contest, the Broncos would best the Blue Devils and on Thursday,freshman Diana Collins (18 points) and the Broncos looked to complete the sweep of Norcross but with region standings implications on the line, the Blue Devils had more than payback on their mind.

Throughout the night, the two teams would trade runs as the lead would change multiple times throughout the night with neither team leading by more than six points. Things would remain tight all the way through the fourth quarter but it would be the Blue Devils holding off Brookwood for the 51-49 win to even the season series and maintain a top for position in the current region standings.
