Spartans Lock Down Defense Helps Campbell Opens Holiday Classic With Big Win Over Decatur

On Thursday, the Campbell Spartans girls basketball team took on the Decatur Bulldogs in the opening round of the Campbell High Holiday Classic basketball tournament. From the opening tip off, the Spartans would establish themselves defensively forcing several turnovers and only allowing the Bulldogs to score three points in the opening period as they were up 18-3.

The Campbell stingy defense would continue in the second quarter as they took an 29-11 lead into the locker room at the half. Campbell would open up offensively in the third quarter as they led 47-12 heading into the fourth quarter and would go on to win by a final of 60-19. Watch highlights from the game below now!
