Patriots Take Down Red Elephants As Sandy Creek Defeats Gainesville 62-51

On Saturday, the Sandy Creek Patriots took on the Gainesville Red Elephants in the annual Atlanta Hawks-Naismith Holiday Classic. The Patriots would start the game on a 7-0 run and eventually close out the first quarter with a 22-11 lead. In the second quarter, Gainesville would close the gap, cutting the Patriots lead to eight thanks to a Robert Reisan three point basket, as they trailed 22-14.

However, Jabari Smith, Deshon Proctor and the Patriots would prove to have too many weapons on offense as they would go up by as many as 15 points in the second quarter. Sandy Creek would go on to finish off the Red Elephants 62-51 for their third straight win. Watch highlights from the game below now!
