Southwest Dekalb Lady Panthers Off To 4-0 Start With Win Over Douglass Astros

On Saturday, the Southwest Dekalb Panthers girls basketball team took on the defending Georgia High School Association Class 2A state champions, the Douglass Astros in the Beauty and the Beast basketball classic held at Mays High School in Atlanta, Georgia. The Panthers would take control of the game from the tip off as they would open up with a 8-0 run and closing out the first quarter with a 18-5 lead. In the second quarter, Southwest Dekalb would outscore Douglass 16-9 to take a 34-14 lead into the locker room at the half.
