McIntosh Into GHSA 5A Area 3 Championship With 2-0 Win over Fayette County

On Wednesday, the McIntosh Chiefs volleyball team returned to action after their last match up seven days ago. The Chiefs would face the Fayette County Tigers in the second round of Georgia High School Association Class 5A Area 3 tournament after getting a first round bye in the tournament.

The Tigers would take advantage of the Chiefs long layoff, keeping each set close, however in each set, the Chiefs would eventually get into a rhythm and would be able to pull away as they would win both sets, 25-14 and 25-15 to win the match up 2-0 and advance to the championship of the GHSA 5A Area 3 tournament.
