Earlier this week, we learned that another top high school basketball recruit from the class of 2020 would be skipping out on college to take a path that will help them prepare for the NBA. MarJon Beauchamp, a rising senior at Dream City Christian in Glendale, Arizona, has decided that following his final season of high school basketball, he will train with Chameleon BX for 12 months to help him prepare for the NBA. Beauchamp, a five star recruit, now joins R.J. Hampton, Kenyon Martin Jr., LaMelo Ball, and Terry Armstrong, who each will play overseas following their senior seasons, as 2020 recruits skipping the college route. In an interview with 247Sports, Beauchamp said the reason for his decision is that he believes he experience the living style of professional players and get better training with the Chameleon BX program. Beauchamp’s father John added that he believes that college cannot prepare his son for the NBA.
