Four-star Offensive Tackle Joshua Braun Breaks Family Pattern, Commits To Georgia Bulldogs

On Monday, four-offensive lineman, Joshua Braun pledged his commitment to play football for the Georgia Bulldogs. Braun, heading into his senior season with Suwanee High School in Live Oak, Florida is considered one of the nation’s top 25 offensive tackle recruits in the class of 2020 and the No. 45 overall recruit in the state of Florida. “I like all the coaches, but I like Coach Pittman specifically,” the 6-foot-6, 335 pound Braun told 247Sports in reference to his decision to commit the Kirby Smart led Bulldogs. The move by the four-star offensive tackle breaks a tradition of Brauns playing in Georgia but at Georgia Tech, the Bulldogs in-state rival. Trey Braun and Parker Braun both played for the Yellow Jackets.
