Jaguars Improve To 13-0 In Region Standings As Maynard Jackson Defeats Banneker 73-37

With just two regular season region games remaining, the Maynard Jackson Jaguars girls basketball team looked to pick up a win over the Banneker Trojans on Monday night to help them improve to 13-0 in the Georgia High School Association Class 5A Region 6 standings.

After a sluggish first quarter, the Jaguars would outscore the Trojans 20-7 to take a 31-13 lead at the half. In the second half, the Jaguars momentum would continue as freshman Xaviera Dyer and sophomore Patsy Mosley would help lead Maynard Jackson to a 73-37 win. Watch highlights from the game below now!
