Wildcats Get Even As Westminster Defeats Redan 76-61

On Tuesday, the Westminster Wildcats hosted the Redan Raiders in the second match up between the two teams of the season. Last week, it would be the Raiders getting the best of the Wildcats edging out Westminster 61-57.

In Tuesday's match up, the two teams would trade baskets early on as the score remained close throughout most of the first quarter and Westminster holding a 13-11 lead at the end of the period. In the second quarter, the Wildcats would begin to open things up with Carter Oesterling and Eli Barry leading the way as Westminster would go into the locker room at the half with a 37-20 lead.

As the game continued, the Raiders would chip away at the Wildcats lead and in the fourth quarter find themselves trailing by six with less than six minutes to go in the game. However, a three pointer from David Perchik would put the Wildcats back up by nine and they wouldn't look back as they went on to get the 76-61 win and evening up the season series at 1-1.
