Panthers Improve to 12-1 As Georgia's No. 1 Forest Park Defeats Charles Drew 66-30

Coming off their 33-28 win over the nation's No. 7 ranked Long Island Lutheran out of New York, the Forest Park Panthers were back in their home state to take on the Charles Drew Titans. Early on in the first quarter, the Titans would play the Panthers tough and cause Forest Park to make mistakes in areas that Coach Steven Cole knew his girls could do better at.

The Panthers would close out the opening period with a 16-8 and Coach Cole's words appeared to have stuck with the Lady Panthers as they would go on to pick up the 66-30 win over the Titans and sophomore Sania Feagin scoring 23 points. The win extends the Panthers current win streak to four in a row.

Their previous streak of eight wins came to an end after a 58-56 overtime loss to the defending Georgia High School Association 6A State Champions and rival, the Lovejoy Wildcats. The two teams will meet again on January 29, 2019 but for now, the Panthers will take it game by game and prepare for their trip to Florida where they will participate in the Naples National Shootout Holiday Invitational.
