Wildcats Bounce Back From Season Opener Loss As Westminster Boys, Girls Defeat Mill Creek

After losing their season opener to the Baylor School, the Westminster Wildcats hosted the Mill Creek Hawks in their second meet of the season as they looked to bounce back. As they meet got underway, the defending 2018 Georgia High School Association Class 1A-3A champion Wildcats looked to be getting back to their winning form taking first and second in several of the early races including the 50 yard Freestyle and the 100 yard Freestyle.

The Westminster boys would go onto win 205-109. On the girls side, things would be much closer as the Wildcats and Hawks split a lot of the races.But thanks to performances by several of the female Westminster swimmers including Gigi Johnson who took the 200 yard Individual Medley and the 100 yard Butterfly, the Wildcats were able to edge out the Hawks 158-151.
