PSN: Team To Keep An Eye On - Maynard Jackson Jaguars Football

It's been quite an up and down season for the Maynard Jackson Jaguars football team out of Atlanta, Georgia. The Jaguars fell to Valdosta in their season opener but then responded with two straight convincing victories. The Jags then dropped their next two match ups giving them an 0-2 start in region standings but responded with two straight wins over region opponents and currently sit in fourth place in their region. The Jaguars remaining games are all against region opponents including this week's game against Grady followed by Decatur and then a season finally with the region's current second place team, Riverwood. Should the Jaguars manage to pick up at least two of wins out of the final three contest and get some help from a few other region match ups over the next few weeks, they could still end up with at least a third place finish in the final standings heading into the Georgia High School Association state playoffs. Last year the Jags finished second in region at 6-1.
