PSN Preview Spotlight: Pebblebrook Falcons Ready To Fly Back Into Action

The past two seasons, the Pebblebrook Falcons football team has made their way into the Georgia High School Association state playoffs under the direction of third year head coach Kevin Saunders. After starting the season with 28-12 win over cross town rival, the South Cobb Eagles, the Falcons fell in their second game of the season to the Hillgrove Hawks 24-7.

Despite the loss, Coach Saunders believes that the final score of the game was not a true indication of how good the Falcons team is. And without taking away anything from the tough Hillgrove teams, Saunders says mistakes by the Falcons contributed to them losing to Hillgrove.

After having a week off, Pebblebrook is preparing for their third game of the season against the Etowah Eagles and we got a chance to catch up with Falcons at a recent practice and spoke with Coach Saunders about getting ready for this week's game, making a run at the region title and returning to the GHSA 7A playoffs.
