Tigers Momentum Continues As Stockbridge Defeats Carver-Atlanta 41-0 To Improve To 2-0


After starting their season with a 34-22 win over the Arabia Mountain Rams, the Stockbridge Tigers rolled into their second of the season against the Carver Panthers with plenty of momentum from their season opening win.

The Tigers would start the game exploding for 28 first quarter points to take a 28-0 lead. Junior quarterback Jevon McDonald would be responsible for 14 of the Tiger's 28 first quarter scoring as rushed for two touchdowns including a 40 yard keeper. He would finish the game with three touchdowns on the day.

Defensively, the Tigers made the Carver offense struggle throughout the game as they constantly got after Panthers quarterback Deontae Maxwell and keeping Carver from scoring as Stockbridge picked up the 41-0 win to improve to 2-0. Watch highlights from the game below now.
