2018 Corky Kell Classic Luncheon

Three days, 18 teams, and 9 games all add up to the 27th Annual Corky Kell Classic which signifies the official start of high school football in Georgia. Every year, the annual football event kicks off with it's luncheon, which brings players and coaches representing each team, as well as, members of the Corky Kell board, all together to celebrate the historic high school football event.

For the second year in a row, the Corky Kell will host nine games over the course of three days, with day one taking place in a new location, Rome's Barron Stadium, home to the Rome High School Wolves, who will face the Marietta Blue Devils in game two on the opening day. Day two will see the classic return to the Georgia State Stadium, home of the Georgia State Panthers.

And on day three, the classic will touch down in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the first time. Prep Sports Nation was on hand at this year's luncheon to catch up with some of the players and coaches who will be participating in the 27th Annual Corky Kell Classic. Watch now below!
