PSN Spotlight: Creekside Seminoles Football
"It's Tribe Pride!" Those are the words of Creekside Seminoles football head coach Maurice Dixon as he discusses his players. Dixon's statement are in reference to his Seminoles team and how the players have been committed to the brand of Creekside High School and its football program, a program that has produced the likes of Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro safety Eric Berry and his younger twin brothers, Evan Berry, who plays with the Cleveland Browns, and Elliott Berry. And although it has been almost five years, the Creekside Seminoles are no strangers to state championships, as they brought home the Georgia High School Association Class 5A state title in 2013. Prep Sports Nation got a chance to catch up with the Seminoles at a recent practice and spoke with Coach Dixon about the approach his team is taking to get ready for the upcoming season!
